Eurocamp 2016 was the 19th Anniversary of Eurocamp in Portsmouth just 110 minutes from Central London . There are very few camps currently operating who can boast such a long life span. We pride ourselves on delivering a top class basketball coaching camp to players from all over the World and have built an excellent reputation amongst the Worldwide basketball community.
The success of Eurocamp is thanks in no small measure to our Head Coach, Dr Laszlo Nemeth. Dr Nemeth's CV is second to none, he has coached the England Senior Men and Womens teams and the National teams of Kuwait and Iceland. He has participated in the Olympic and Asian Games and brings to Eurocamp a wealth of coaching experience. His basketball philosophy mirrors the European style of play - tough defence, fast breaks and long range shooting. Laszo is currently a senior lecturer at Chichester University.
As well as his experience, Laszlo brings with him a team of top class coaches from all corners of the globe, all with a proven track record and who are performing at the top of their game. Further details are on the staff pages.
Laszlos team are backed up by a highly experienced and dedicated team of staff from thePortsmouth University. Most have been involved in several camps, helping to ensure an organised and trouble free camp.
ALL staff, including Laszlo's coaches, have current Enhanced DBS checks or the equivalent from their own Country.
