We take the safety and security of our guests very seriously.  We try to take every precaution to ensure that players are looked after while they're here with us.

All coaching staff and local staff have Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau checks issued within the last 3 years.  Any Foreign coaches are expected to provide the equivalent documentation from their own Country before they are allowed to coach at Eurocamp.

We have in place a General Risk Assessment, adhere to the Basketball England Safeguarding Policy and the University Fire Risk Assessment, all available to view on request.  These are updated every year, just before camp.

The Fire alarm system and fire extinguishers are tested by Qualified engineers just before camp each year.  The alarm system is checked weekly by local staff and we operate a Fire Drill on the first night.

Each Residential Dorm has members of staff responsible for it.  This includes overnight when staff will be on duty.  The venues for our dormitories are covered by 24 hour CCTV.

Our minibus drivers are all qualified to drive such vehicles and most have also completed the University minibus assessment.

At Eurocamp, we try to create a family atmosphere.  There will always be some campers who miss being at home.  We try to identify those people and help them to overcome their home sickness by providing a welcoming, friendly environment and encouraging them to talk to us.  There is always someone on hand who will spend time with the youngsters and listen to their concerns.
